Our review
Submagic pays 30% recurring commissions on the subscriptions of the customers you refer, for as long as they stay subscribed. It is an AI video tool for captions and short clips, so the program suits creators and publishers whose audience already makes videos for TikTok, Reels or YouTube Shorts. Our take: it is an easy product to explain and the commission is solid, but the rules on paid ads and the PayPal-only payout narrow who it really fits.

What you would be promoting
Submagic adds AI captions to videos (the site claims 123 languages), cuts long videos into short clips, lets you edit by deleting words in the transcript, and can insert B-roll automatically. There is also a scheduling feature and an editing API. The audience is wide: solo creators, coaches, agencies and marketing teams who repurpose podcasts or interviews. Pricing is not shown on the home page, so check the current plans before you quote any figure to readers.
Submagic affiliate program at a glance
- Commission: 30% recurring, paid monthly for each referred customer.
- Duration: the program page says the commission lasts for the lifetime of the customer, with no cap on earnings.
- Payout: automatic on the 7th of each month once you have earned at least $50, by PayPal only. Allow 3 to 5 days for the funds to arrive.
- Cookie length: not stated on the page. Ask support before you plan around it.
- Promo codes: sales made with your promo code are credited to you even if the buyer skipped your link.

How the money works
Recurring means one good referral keeps paying. Fictional example: you refer 10 customers who each pay $30 a month. At 30%, that is $9 per customer, or $90 a month, as long as they stay. This is only arithmetic to show the mechanism, not a Submagic price or a result we have seen. The real figure depends on the plan each customer picks and on how many cancel, so churn matters more than the headline rate.
The rules that change your plans
Paid advertising is not allowed: commissions from sales driven by paid ads are not paid, and Submagic may ask for proof of how a sale was generated. That rules out search or social ads as a traffic source, so the program is for organic content, such as tutorials, comparisons and video walkthroughs. Payment goes through PayPal only, which can be a problem if you do not use it. The program page also says the affiliate community is in private beta, so tools and terms may still move.
Who should apply
We like it for YouTubers, newsletter writers and bloggers who already publish about video editing, social media growth or content repurposing. A tutorial that shows a real before-and-after caption job will convert better than a list of tools. If your traffic comes mostly from paid campaigns, or your readers have nothing to do with video, look elsewhere.
Our verdict
Submagic is a strong pick for a creator-focused site: clear product, lifetime recurring commission and a simple monthly payout. Start with one tutorial, track what is credited for a couple of months, then decide whether to build more pages around it. Terms checked on October 12, 2026 on the public program page; they can change, so confirm them when you sign up.
