Semrush’s affiliate program on Impact suits publishers who help their audience put SEO tools to work. Semrush closed its former in-house BeRush program on January 31, 2023. We still like the opportunity for publishers who teach SEO, but the pitch has changed: explain a useful workflow and earn an acquisition commission. Do not build a plan around the old promise of lifetime BeRush payments.

The current Semrush affiliate program

Semrush now covers several different needs, including keyword research, site audits, competitive analysis, and AI visibility. That gives a publisher useful editorial angles. It does not mean every reader needs the largest subscription. Match the product to the job your tutorial helps them do.

The basic table lists $200 for an eligible SEO Toolkit sale, $300 for Semrush One, and $100 for the AI Visibility Toolkit. Selected eligible trials pay $10. Higher partner tiers increase some sale commissions. These are acquisition payments, rather than a share of every future monthly subscription. Existing customer relationships and attribution rules also matter.

A workflow gives the reader a reason to care

A useful article could start with a real publishing question: which competitor pages attract search traffic, and which topics are worth pursuing? Walk through the research, explain the estimates, and show how the findings become a content brief. We prefer that approach to a list of dashboard screenshots without a decision at the end. Readers should understand both the tool’s contribution and the work still required.

Hypothetical example: two approved SEO Toolkit sales at the basic $200 commission produce $400 before any reversal. Ten clicks or ten existing users are not equivalent to those sales. Tracking trial activations and approved purchases separately helps reveal whether a tutorial attracts curious readers or potential customers. The example is arithmetic, not an earnings claim.

Who we would build the partnership around

An established SEO blog, an educator, or a creator publishing practical marketing demonstrations is a stronger fit than an unfinished site with a signup link. We would recommend this program when the audience has an ongoing need to improve online visibility. For readers choosing their first domain or learning basic website setup, a hosting partnership may answer the immediate question better. The attractive commission is a reason to assess the offer; the reader’s need is the reason to recommend it.

The program excludes promotion on adult and gambling websites, so the intended property must fit its accepted channels.
