Coinbase has a publisher affiliate program managed through Impact. It is separate from the referral offer available to customers. For a crypto website, we like the combination of an identifiable exchange and professional campaign management. The deciding commercial detail is the earning window: the public affiliate offer shares trading fees for three months. That makes it a short-window fee-share partnership rather than lifetime recurring income.

Two programs, two different ways to earn
The professional affiliate program pays accepted businesses and publishers for qualifying transactions by new customers. The customer referral program awards a benefit after a qualifying purchase, with the reward varying by country. Those are different commercial arrangements. Our existing partner link opens the customer referral route. To apply as a professional publisher, use Coinbase’s Affiliates section and submit the application through Impact. Do not assume that opening a customer account also enrolls your website in the affiliate program.
A 50% rate with a three-month earning window
The official affiliate page advertises 50% of trading fees for the first three months. Hypothetical example: an attributed customer generates $6, $4, and $8 in eligible fees during that window. At 50%, the illustrative commission totals $9. It is calculated from fees, not the amount purchased or deposited. We recommend comparing the earning window as closely as the percentage. A higher rate over a short period and a lower rate over a longer period create different revenue profiles; the headline percentage cannot settle the comparison.

Where Coinbase fits in a crypto comparison
Coinbase gives a publisher a specific buying-and-selling platform to cover. Account setup, interface, fees, and products available in the target market are useful comparison criteria. We like that approach because it helps readers choose a service rather than chase a signup reward. Check that the product you discuss qualifies under your accepted offer. The general affiliate program, Coinbase Advanced, and customer referrals should not be described as interchangeable versions of the same deal.
Applying and managing the partnership through Impact
Approved affiliates receive promotional assets and Impact tracking. The public page describes deep links, campaign reports, and electronic payments through PayPal or a bank account. Prepare your website, audience, and channel details for the application. The accepted offer determines attribution, payout threshold, and timing. Coinbase also states that some MiFID-regulated activities in the EU/EEA can have different commission and payment arrangements. U.S. dollar examples in this review illustrate the calculation; they do not replace the terms for your market.

Our take on the Coinbase affiliate program
We recommend including Coinbase in a shortlist for a crypto publisher helping new users compare exchanges. Impact supplies a useful management framework, and the public fee-share formula is easy to understand. Its main limitation is the three-month window, which deserves as much attention as the 50% rate. Customer referrals suit a separate use case. Choose the right arrangement before advertising a commission or signup reward. Affiliate income pays the publisher; it does not establish whether readers will make or lose money using the platform.
The Binance and KuCoin reviews help place this offer in the crypto affiliate landscape. Compare admission and qualifying actions separately, keeping professional affiliate agreements distinct from customer referrals.
