DreamHost pays a one-time referral reward for eligible new hosting customers. We like the range for a publisher covering website projects at different stages, from a first site to managed WordPress hosting. The useful rate is the one attached to the product and term the reader needs. The largest advertised payout is not the payment for every hosting signup.
Choose a product before comparing the reward
The program’s table varies by hosting product and billing commitment. Shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress do not solve identical problems. We would recommend around the website’s requirements before looking at the affiliate amount. A first personal blog does not need to be pushed toward a large DreamPress plan because its reward is higher. That distinction keeps the recommendation useful and helps the publisher explain why the selected offer belongs in a comparison.
The actual product and term change the calculation
The knowledge base lists a $50 reward for an annual Web Hosting Launch referral and $200 for annual DreamPress 1. Hypothetical example: three approved Launch annual referrals at $50 produce $150. Those are customer-acquisition rewards, not a share of each future hosting renewal. The current table reaches $1,000 on a specific DreamPress configuration, so the maximum should not be generalized. We like the product-level table because it makes the commercial difference visible; the account’s applicable offer remains the basis for a campaign.
Why the 97-day period matters
The public TUNE terms require a new, unique customer who signs up within 30 days of the affiliate click and maintains an active paid account for at least 97 days. The knowledge base explains that some dashboard reports show only approved conversions, while the conversion report includes pending ones. We would check the right report before concluding that a referral disappeared. No minimum payout is advertised, but that does not remove the holding period. A publisher buying traffic must account for the delay between campaign spending and approved rewards.
Our take on DreamHost
DreamHost fits a website-building or WordPress audience where the hosting choice can be explained in concrete terms. We like the product-specific rewards and the ability to track placements in TUNE. The main limit is the validation lag: this is not immediate cash from a registration. Use the current offer, distinguish pending from approved conversions, and plan around the monthly bank-payment process. We would shortlist it for an audience that needs the hosting service, rather than as an earnings claim based on the largest plan in the table.
Bluehost provides another acquisition offer to compare around WordPress publishing. The qualifying purchase and approval period matter alongside the advertised commission.
