A storefront margin is not an affiliate percentage

In the free reseller model, you select the selling price and the wholesale cost determines the margin. Hypothetical example: a service sold for $90 with a $60 wholesale cost leaves $30 before applicable fees and taxes. Those figures are illustrative, not a current plan quote. The useful question is whether the price makes sense for your customers and the work around the storefront. A higher retail price is not automatically a better business if it makes the offer harder to sell.

The affiliate program introduces other resellers

The public affiliate offer advertises 10% on sales generated by resellers you refer. Its FAQ describes the wholesale price as the calculation base for eligible sales in the free reseller program. This is different from introducing one hosting customer to your own storefront. It fits an audience of web professionals who want to run a hosting business. We would explain the platform and the commercial model before recommending it, rather than presenting a reseller account as interchangeable with an ordinary hosting purchase.

Who benefits from a branded hosting offer

A developer, website consultant, or small agency may want hosting to sit alongside its existing services. The branded storefront is relevant to that business model. For example, a designer maintaining client sites could assess whether the platform simplifies offering hosting without operating the server infrastructure. That does not remove the need to manage customer expectations, explain the plan, and keep the sales presentation accurate. We like the option when it supports an existing service relationship, rather than a promise of effortless passive income.

Read the payment calendar before planning cash flow

The public documentation lists a $50 minimum for PayPal, checks, and wallet credit, and $500 for bank wires. Wallet credit is useful for buying platform services; it is not the same as a cash withdrawal. Commissions are processed monthly after the validation period. The published calendar shows a lag between the earning month and the scheduled payment month. We would use that calendar to plan cash flow instead of interpreting monthly payment as immediate access to this month’s sales.
